Bella Noir’s project will be more to the community than just a building taking up space. Through building a 98,000-sf community hub, Bella Noir LLC will take a comprehensive approach to improve the vitality and aesthetic quality of the commercial corridor located on 601 – 621 E. 47th St., providing a safer pedestrian environment, and ensuring continued economic revitalization of the 47th Street commercial corridor. We are developing a health and wellness facility for the community with programming to include residential space for veterans, full-size basketball court for youth and young adults, a rehab center, pharmacy, medical offices focusing on preventive and integrative medicine with a focus on mental health, restaurants, a STEM lab, and our foundation headquarters. In conjunction with our urban facility, we have a farm one hour outside Chicago that will provide space to run additional foundation programs. Our farm, La Terre Promise, will be a space where people can come to experience life outside of the city. This will be a teaching farm and a full production and research facility for Lyric Foundation programs and Bella Noir products. Situated on 170 acres on the outskirts of Chicago, La Terre Promise will provide tools for youth development and workforce training for youth, young adults, and adults already in the workforce. Our programs prepare participants for higher education and career opportunities through an employment-based development model. Along with mental health services at our 47th St. location, we will feature equine therapy for veterans, first responders, and youth on the farm. The community is gaining access to more than our 47th street facility, they will be given the option to utilize our farm as transportation in between the facilities will be provided.
